Rhubarb and Strawberry Crumble by Sandien Rhubarb and Strawberry Crumble by Sandien
This jummy looking dish is Rhubarb&Strawberry crumble, one of my favorite desserts! Especially when it is still hot and steamy when it comes out of the oven, add some whipped cream to eat and yummy!

This is 1:12 scale, still considering to put it up for sale in my Etsy..

I'm amazed at how well you nailed the texture of the crumbles (and the strawberry/rhubarb). I remember trying to make a mini-bowl of oatmeal once and I ended up using fabric paint and bits of paper towel. Definitely not as perfect as this.

Also, I'm not into baking so I don't know how this dish is made, but I might have mixed the ingredients up more for the rhubarb & strawberry crumble in progress or at least added more crumble. I like how it balances out the bowl and the plate and essentially creates three stages of this dish, but I feel like you could do more with it.

Thank you for you critique! I really appreciate that ;)

For the second part of your feedback, I have my reasons for plating it up like this, I like to keep it simple, since it is actually a really simple dish :). I could have added more ingrediŽnts, making it more difficult making sure all the ingredients are shown on this small scale.

Actually you should try baking this once, it is lovely! :D Not many ingredients and a lovely taste! Especially with whipped cream! :D

I figured you had a reason for the way you had it set up; I just felt like I should give more feedback than "this is so awesome." Plus, it was really the only thing I noticed. :D

Ah, that's okay, I think the rhubarb taste a lot better because of the strawberries ;) But apple crumble sounds nice too!

The crumble topping looks perfect, as does the whipped cream. :)

I'd definitely put it up on Etsy if I were you.

I have the same issue. I usually pick a price and scale down from there if I end up seeing it's too much. :P

That's a good idea ;) I usually check what other people price their miniatures and then base a price on mine. :P
